They have never really been understood or accepted in the USA.

XD That is awesome. 'It just went off' XD we had one in our house when I was growing up.... yes, the upper floor DID get flooded once....twice.... because of it.

First time I went to europe as a 19 year old I had no clue what they were. I washed my sore feet in them.
