If I'm not mistaken, that looks like a 1967 or 68 Caddy, which is similar to the 1965 Coup de Ville I had in high school. It had a monumental trunk. I slept in the trunk when we took my Caddy on camping trips to the beach or mountains. Sweet, sweet car. I can see why it would be his prized possession.
