All I can say is WOW! There's a woman who nows how to take care of both herself and her car.

Thanks VERY much for posting it Jim.

I saw a similar video not long ago about a lady and her 57 Chevy. It was great, but this one is an order of magnitude greater for both the car and the owner.

This lady has come to attention quite some time ago as well. There was an overall picture of the car then presented .

It still looked pretty good. I at the time thought that even with the cost of extensive mechanical work to keep it up over the years it still would have good end point value.

I saw or read no indication that she had updated any systems either. Nor was the overall accumulated milage mentioned.

I read a story last year about Pebble Beach, where the car had a flat before the concours and they had to ship one out to California pretty fast.

Wonder if its original? The Packards of that era were very very well built.

According to this Hemings site, the Packard is a 1930 which she has owned since 1949. She is now 103 and still driving al be it not not the roadster.

We had a guest Preacher at Church last Sunday that is 100 years old and still preaching and writing books. It was great to see a man of his age getting around as well as he was. Praise Jesus.

Quote from the former curator of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.

Last year at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum I worked on a project that had me under the hood of all museum owned cars. There were many that I fought the latch and hood to open them and close them. That includes 3 Model J Duesenbergs and a Pierce Arrow. The best hood to open and close was the V12 1936 Packard Victoria Convertible. The handles turned with little effort. Unlatched the hood mechanism did not catch on anything when raising the hood. Then in closing the hood it lowered into a very positive location. (the hoods on most can be moved all over) Then with the hood down just turn the handle to the latched position. No wrestling the hood to get the latch to engage. (Duesenbergs are the worst hoods that I have dealt with)
