Parents write letter to man who sat with their autistic daughter
I saw this letter last night and it really is worth the read, there are no disabilities, there are different abilities, please read. If you fell the urge. Maybe share it.

I envy people who are able to relate to young kids. It's a gift.

Good for him. Having a son w/Down syndrome, I can somewhat relate to the mother's anxiety in public. My son is very gregarious, sometimes overly gregarious and can overstep people's personal space. For ex., climbing up into a biker looking dude's lap and checking out his beard. But folks with kids with autism have a lot more to deal with than we do.
Me, too. Wish I had that gift.

Nice letter by mom! That man displayed how I often deal with small children. I've been a pied piper ever since ever since and still am. Don't know how or where I got it from but it's natural and I really like dealing with kids, and they me. This weekend I was the Kindergarten/First grade "Referee" at the Florida South Regional chess championships, and also had to drift over to the K-3 section quite a bit. Over 150 students and three of us working those sections.
