Well executed propaganda. That ad misleads without lying, which makes it harder to refute.

The "missing" info from the ads is that the vast majority of those 2M workers cited by the CBO voluntarily chose to retire or cut hours because they didn't have to work, not because the cost to the employer required cutting hours or employees. Thanks Dudesky for pointing out how desperate the GOP is to use misinformation to forward "their" agenda.

But wait . . . there's more

GOP Creates 18 Fake Websites for Democrat Candidates

The National Republican Congressional Committee bought up hundreds of URLs ahead of the 2014 election cycle and has created nearly 20 websites appearing to support Democratic candidates in all but the small print, a spokesman for the campaign confirmed Thursday.

The websites include donation forms that accept credit cards and encourage viewers to contribute up to $500, but instead of money going to the Democratic candidates, it goes to the NRCC.

Real unemployment in the US is likely about 10-15%. If workers retire early, choose to become full-time homemakers, or cut their hours, their positions will be absorbed by the unemployed and underemployed fairly quickly. This will actually be a GOOD thing.

Because of the M.S. I stayed in a stressful job, even though my finances were ok. My employers are weaning off the IBM Z series, so they moved me in to Telecom. The job is a lot of fun and seems to have reduced the exacerbations so I might stay a couple of more years. Thanks to the ACA I can go when it’s right.
