SAME THING HAPPENEDE TO ME A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN I HAD THE REAR TRUNK LID AND OTHER AREAS PAINTED.

iT WENT IN AS "E 4 2 0"

Came OUT as "4 2 0 E"



Shome mishtake shurely???!!!

Wow, that's worse than the guys I see driving around here with an "S550" and the "AMG" on the other side...

Cheap buggers, they should get rid of one "5" and the zero, buy a "6" for a couple bucks and maybe someone might think it's a S65 AMG.

Saw a 94-95 W124 wagon yesterday, badged as 320E.

Gads, if you are that sloppy on the obvious, what else is f-ed up?

honestly it seems like a pretty easy to make mistake for a body guy. After all, large numbers of mercedes have the letter after the number, at least the older ones.

Lets say one person disassembled, and another re-assembled, and remembered the badge on the 190E or something like that, so put it like that.
