Holy crap. Each stack is $250k I cannot even imagine and I thought I have a pretty vivid imagination.

Info Justice

That was the amount reported to have been found...I wonder how much ended up in a few pockets of the officials on sight.

While I find the embellishments on the weapons to be gaudy, they did have an impressive collection.

Like prohibition, the war on drugs is clearly not working.

How convenient.

I still have a hard time imagining what it would be like to have a pile of money the size of a large king size bed. I have a pretty good imagination but the idea of having well over $22 billion in cash just boggles my mind. I could walk up to Jay Leno and buy his garage and contents with just one of those suit cases of money.

We need to form a group on here and find one of the other 27 houses like that one. They would never miss a few suit case full of cash. In - out. Boom boom boom. Real easy.

$100 Bill, Some Interesting Facts

$1M in $100 notes weighs about 20.5 pounds. So, 22,000 x 20.5 = 451,000 pounds or 225.5 tons

The Federal Reserve ships $100 bills overseas on pallets, each one stacked with 640,000 bills. That means each pallet is worth about $64 million.

I'm in this with you. Let's raid Swamp's house first -- CT isn't too far from MA.

All due respect and all that, but the LAST thing I want to see is a picture of your piles Mr. Yankee.

If these numbers are correct then that pile that was reportedly 22 Bil is way short of that. I have seen 50k lbs of paper on a truck so 451,000# would be ten truck loads. That stack looks closer to 5K than 451k. Or maybe T. Walg. can answer what house is built with a live load rating for 451,000# sitting in a corner.

davidmash 02-20-2014 01:05 PM

I think you might be right. That pile of cash doe not look like it could weigh that much. May be the $22 billion referred to his entire net worth?

Either way, I want that pile of cash. I'm booking a ticket down to MX. who's coming?
