Olympic skaters
Funny how a lot of us take note of figure skating once every four years. I'd been hearing the buzz about the S. Korean skater, Yuna Kim but couldn't remember seeing her. Must have missed this part in the Vancouver Olympics.
But, wow, saw her this time. Dang, this lady has got it. What a magical creature. I don't usually get moved this way by this stuff. I gather she's a huge star in Korea. Not surprising. Other great performers as well. Just found her video from four years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH7vsyqiVjk It's good but the music is sorta jarring. Saw her short program tonight, the music was soft and gentle. Really worked. I'll have to go to bed and tape the next few hours if I want to see the rest.

It is fun to watch these amazing athletes even when doing sports I would never think to watch any other time.
I watched that tape. Wow! What a powerful and graceful young lady. She did the most difficult leaps and made it all look effortless. Lovely girl too.
