Paging Mr. Walgamuth. Paging Mr. T Walgamuth.
Do you still have your rabbit(s)? My remaining one moved on to the big carrot patch in the sky a few months ago. I've got an unopened 50 lb. bag of rabbit feed still kicking around that's yours if you want it.
I tried to find someone locally who wanted it, but even at FREE! people via CL and freecycle flake out and don't show. I just want it gone off my porch and I'd hate to see it go to waste. |
Ah, the many uses for a 50lb bag of rabbit food:
1. Catch a 50lb rabbit! 2. Put in back of wagon for snow traction. 3. Use as kitty litter for oil spills. 4. Spread out on road, so the birds eat it, so the cars kill the birds! 5. Repackage in Cheerios boxes and give to local homeless shelter. |
Hey swamp, do you have a local 4H or FFA club? Some kid might appreciate that for a project rabbit.

Clearly I did not think it all of the way through. :D:D:D |

One that lives in Section 8 housing & waits for the Welfare man to come around with the slop bucket?? |

Thanks! |
I'd second the 4H or FFA idea. I'm sure a quick check with a local high school could find someone who could put it to good use.

put it out on the street with a sign that says "free" on it. If its still there in 48 hours, ill be surprised. No way is a 50lb bag gonna ship for under 20 bucks to twalgumuth |
Use it to start a compost pile.

Houston has Bunny Buddies - a pet rabbit placement service by volunteers. Maybe you have something like that?
