Has anyone tried to find a cordless drill that is not made in China...try it next time you are in home depo...even Millwaukee is made in China. As far as large portions of scrap metal from our country...they are sending ships over to pick it up and take it back to China. Tried to find hockey skates that are not made in China, only one company left and they get everything made in China and put them together here, so the salesman claimed...funny how the box says made in China.
For some reason Canada was talking about sending our chickens to China to be processed and then sent back here..for us to eat???last pictures I saw of China they are all wandering around in thick pollution smoke with masks on....and is'nt that where the bird flu and all these flu's are coming from. Why would I want to eat chicken from there? Will we get our Canadian chickens back or will we get the polluted athsmatic mutated chinese chickens, with 3 eyes? Quite a few military families are on SNAP (food stamps) . . . And that number will rise as budget cuts reduce PX discounts and housing vouchers. Those darn "takers" . . .

Anybody remember when Dick Cheney was Sec. of Defense and he called for cutting the Pentagon budget? And that he reduced the size of the military by 19%?
Naw... I didn't think so. And when Rumsfeld was Sec. of Defense he told the military to stop their whining and that "You go to war with the Army you have." Remember that? And in both cases Republicans said these actions were just the greatest thing ever? Actually, I remember them supporting both of these guys, but I don't remember them being all excited about it. I think the real questions is: Why do Conservatives tend to forget history so quickly? |

The same reason everybody else does: It fits one's world view.
Can you truthfully say that your opinions don't change depending on who runs the system? |

I can also say that I don't take advice from people who have been proven to be wrong over and over, and I do not continue to defend a failed set of policies. This is because I learn from the past and pay attention. Can you truthfully say Conservative do this? |
