Your W210 has normal suspension, not active suspension that has to talk to the rest of the systems on the car, and especially not things like night vision, MAGIC body control, active lane assist, radar cruise control...the list goes on...

I like how they avoided driving through San Francisco or any other part of the bay area that might have traffic. They took the 280 instead of the 101 through the peninsula again to avoid real world traffic, bypassed the east bay, McArthur maze and the bay shore. You know, all the roads normal people use to get from point A to point B in the Bay Area. This trip reads like a list of the least busy roads in the Bay Area and Central Valley. They might as well be driving on the moon.

Nah they will sell a ton of them because like the 4 cylinder 5 series it will be the lease special and the cheapest E class they offer.

MB like BMW needs to to get their CAFE ratings up so they can keep selling AMG's and big S class's.

GM is doing the same thing now with the new V6 Silverados. Pushing them cheap over the V8's to get those CAFE ratings up.

Remember most new E class buyers are like my attorney. They don't give a crap whats under the hood and never even open it. They just want a nice midsized sedan they can lease for $500-$600 a month.

The E350 is the lease special. Each dealer has 10 E350s in stock for every E250 diesel. Besides if you're buying or leasing a $52000 car you can afford the gas and you want that extra 100hp for the same money.
