North Korea...

We weren't fast enough to out fox those buggers...

North Korea Claims to Have Landed First Man on the Sun

Quote:
“We are very delighted to announce a successful mission to put a man on the sun. North Korea has beaten every other country in the world to the sun. Hung Il Gong is a hero and deserves a hero’s welcome when he returns home later this evening,” the broadcaster said.
It was said that the journey was made possible by travelling in the cover of darkness, which protected him from the extreme heat of the sun.

While on the sun, Mr. Hung collected sun spot samples to bring back to his supreme leader as a present.
Now...why haven't we destroyed this country yet?

It is difficult sometimes to understand the pronunciation of words by Koreans. I think they said "the first man in the un".

I assume the fellow they sent there was one of his relatives who has recently fallen out of favor?

I don't believe it. They say they did it at night, there is no way they could find it at night when it's that dark.

They do provide the comic relief for certain. One has to wonder though if the top leadership is sane or not at the same time.
