Kansas City International Auto Show

Jay Leno is doing stand up tonight at the show and I'm sitting in a CLA for the first time. Feels so cheap! Horrible looking gauges. Idiotic dash with an iPad glued to it. Roofline makes the interior very crampt.

the glk is still my favorite, lots of bang for the buck and a real throwback interior. Diesel all wheel drive can be had for under 40k. I could pretend its a wagon.

Also the new Corolla interior quality is outstanding. Same goes for the new big Buick sedan, but they are smokin crack asking 50k for a well equipped model.

They all look the same on the outside.

I laughed at the new Chrysler 200. 9 speed tranny?

Yeah, it's a huge improvement over the old one, which felt like a slight cheapening of the one before that.

Jay Leno doing standup? Where was he when the show was in Boston? Wow.

I was more impressed by the $5,000,000 worth of antique cars displayed near the escalators than anything else I saw there.

I think we had a few stanced cars with 1500# sounds systems.

Jay Leno, antique cars... I'm comin' to Kansas next year.

Cars, as in plural? Heck, in January that's the price for just one . . . :D

Better to come to Missouri. That's where Kansas City is.

It's complicated.

I'll be heading to the NY one next month.

I have been going for years and every year I go I want to buy something less and less.

The new CTS is quite nice, as are the new Buicks. Pricing is insane on the Buick's though.

I drove the CLA a month or so ago at my local dealer and it may have been a Altima I was driving. I hated it. I'm really worried the new C-Class is going to be the same.

The 200 has a 9 speed transmission? Why bother.
