It's a little odd to refer to Proverbs 31 in this context. While it does endorse the role of wife and mother it also describes a woman who works with her hands, sells merchandise, buys real estate and appears to be a slave owner. I guess maybe the author of that note was pissed that day because his wife didn't cook him breakfast.

Its only a problem when someone makes an issue of the sexual orientation. Gays do not have greater rights than straights.

I would be more surprised if the pilot faked it than if it was from an actual passenger. A lesbian waitress is more likely, IMO, to be in some sort of chip on shoulder acting out mode than a female airline pilot.

Ignorant in that the perp totally misused the text. Maybe it was done by a gay person masquerading as a straight bigot. Although, there are many so-called Christians who are woefully ignorant of the book they claim to follow.
