The worst part of this is that amounts to a compelling case to go back to the company I’m pissed at.
They are experts when it comes to maneuvering the chess pieces around on the chess board to get you to do what they want you to do. They have a LOT of practice at this game.

In case you haven't checked into it lately, not only are the buildings mortgage free, they have been mortgage free since before you were born.

My building has brass and gold fittings on the doors and in the elevators and Italian marble floors through out. A $50,000 glass hand made Italian chandelier greets clients on the first floor of the building. My receptionist was a playmate before she came to work here. She brings me my morning Starbucks coffee and my daily Wall Street journal so I can see how my company's stock is performing. I read the paper while sipping coffee while seated at my fifty foot solid rosewood conference table. My Grumman Gulfstream Jet aircraft awaits fully fueled and on the ready to take me to any destination I desire at a moment's notice. My Chauffeur stands by with my Bentley automobile to take me to dinner at an exclusive members only dinner club along with certain select guests of mine.

Night life for you, OTH, involves ordering a pizza and renting a movie from Red Box.

You aren't even aware that I exist and that is how I WANT IT.

Oh, I almost forgot, don't forget to send in your monthly insurance premium payment, my wife wants a newer and larger swimming pool.

A statement usually made by the UNsuccessful.

I haven't. Not even sure how I would proceed since I don't really see how that enters into any equation in my life.

IF that were true, good for you. I really don't care who is more or less or about the same when it comes to success. Unlike you, I don't have a green eyed monster inside me that is envious of someone's success. If someone does better than me, I wish I could be them.

That is where you are wrong. I don't do Red Box. Just cancelled Netflix. If you are going to take wild guesses and try to convince me you know anything, you are going to have to do better.

Yes, I'm sure. Know how many "Secrets your (insert group here) doesn't want you to know" I see? I lost count. Know how many I read? None.

I don't do it monthly. Try again.

Would be great if you COULD be in it but I'm sure you have loftier goals than vulgar money. I, OTOH, have none so vulgar money it is.

Where to begin? They don't fly business jets, drive Bentley automobiles and office in the tallest buildings for no reason. They arrived on success avenue by learning how to make sure the masses do their bidding. Now, time to get back to counting the money, the money you just sent to the insurance company.

They arrived because they worked harder and smarter and as long as that continues, they will keep going. When someone works harder and smarter, they will be out on the street.

IF were even true enough for me to consider, you'd have other people count it for you and have enough common sense not to tell anyone the obvious. But do go on. I had a long day and need the amusement.

Funny most people I know who work in insurance are paid at or below competition. Not one has a private jet or playboy receptionist.

I'm going to guess it has much more to do with a vivid imagination.

That depends. Do you move in the same imaginary world as Husky? If so, they do.

And a good reason why the government outlawed psychedelic drugs.

I don't remember having any I that stuff but I do distinctly remember bring overworked and underpaid in a cube farm with a bunch of other miserable people right up the food chain. Selective memory I guess.

The home that I live in now was built new in 2000. When I moved in I had car and home owners under a company whose name I do not remember as about that time they changed names. Anyhow, for the first two years my home insurance was just under $600. The following year without any claims or changes to cars or home it went to $950. I change insurance companies in a month.

In 2007 a hail storm hit that caused $17,500 in damage to the house. I was with Allstate. With the level of coverage that I had the entire 7 year old roof was replaced, 40% of the siding was replaced, 9 by 18 foot garage door, front entry door, etc. My cost was my deductible of $500. The adjustor told me that "this will not change your premium". Guess what...next bill was for $350 more. That is when I changed again and went to Auto Owners.

I got 3 quotes today (AAA, AARP and Geico) Geico is more than the current provider but are the next lowest cost of those I made an inquiry.

The current insurer costs $545 per year for full coverage on 2 MB vehicles with a kilobuck deductable.

geico asked about $630 for ~ the same coverage.

Any comments or recommendations?

TIA

I heard Warren Buffett say recently that Geico is the 2nd largest auto insurer in the Country. So, yes, many ppl use them. Whether their higher price is worth knowing that they're able to pay-off if necessary is comforting. But at what price? Only you can decide.

I do not do business with Geico, because they were significantly higher in their quotes for my insured vehicles, about 6-years ago. I switched to Nationwide and Amica.

Unless an indy insurance agent's quotes are compared to the big insurers that he doesn't represent, you'll not know whether his rates are better.

Yeah, always consider bundling when comparing rate plans.
