I've been looking for the name of this for a long time after seeing a couple videos, thank you for posting it!! Its absolutely incredible work, its all PVC pipes and 100% mechanical. A true showing of dedication and ingenuity.

edit: might be bamboo, I can't remember. I think I saw something on netflix about him?
