I never even considered that jury members names would eventually become public.
If it were up to me, those jurors names would be sealed for a minimum 10 years.

In civil cases, jurors identities are not private. However there are some penalties for direct juror contact even after a verdict if that contact suggest improper communication with a juror regarding deliberations.
