The music school is in about the most run down building on campus.
Just for fun try a trumpet mouth piece in a bass trombone. You can make it talk.

When I was there the food at Woodruff was better than the food at Brittain. Both were quite edible IMO. Anyway, if you live on east campus, you'll be close to JR Crickets on Spring. I went there A LOT.

GT has a very good co-op program. You would be wise to avail yourself of it. I didn't and I'm still kicking myself for it.

I plan to co-op (hopefully SpaceX or NASA but those are tough to get) as well as take advantage of GA Tech's great study abroad programs
I am also taking part in a program this summer geared to get students used to the work load and life at GA Tech before it counts for your GPA, and am hoping to get into a leadership program/living learning community called Grand Challenges

If you wanted to get into audio engineering, wouldn't EE make (slightly?) more sense? I don't know how GA Tech structures their program, but Alabama's ME seemed focused on churning out automotive techs and AC repairmen. Also, unless you're REALLY REALLY into it, I'd advise against doing co-op at Marshall, Huntsville basically turns off at 8 pm.

I am wanting to major in mechanical or aerospace engineering with maybe a minor in music though most likely I will major in mechanical and minor in aerospace.
Whatever your choice, work hard. study hard and play hard.
Oh yes, and don't forget to prioritize.
Best of luck to you.

Congrats! UF is VERY tough to get in now and I doubt I would be accepted now with the grades I had when I graduated High School. You need to practically be the top of your class to get in now I think.

I'm not really looking into audio engineering, I just merely stated GA Tech has that. I'm not totally set on mechanical engineering though.

Both my brother and I got in and I was invited to apply for the Honors College but my issue was that they want a 4.0 weighted GPA to be considered for academic scholarships and mine was 3.92, which isn't even top 10% in my class (though to be fair I have taken harder courses than most of my peers). I had 33 ACT so in that regard I was way above the requirement but my GPA just killed my chances to be given the scholarship outright. I have a friend that goes there and she had similar circumstances but was awarded large academic scholarships in May after the decisions deadline but I didn't want to take that sort of risk so I went with Georgia Tech. I am still a Gator at heart of course but I don't really feel too bad about not being to go there since GA Tech is such a good school.
