Who is the terrorist?

I am not a troll but I just have to vent on this one.

By all accounts, liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican, Bundy is a deadbeat. All agree with that. He has been grazing his cattle on Federal Land without paying the agreed-upon fee for many years. He owes the money but refuses to pay.

What I find reprehensible is the U,S, Government's collection methods. There are many remedies available to the Government not the least of which is collection through the Internal Revenue Service. Their job is collection of all revenue, not solely income tax. A recent controversial example is the collection of fines against those who refuse or object to the Government forcing us to buy a product we may not want or need (ObamaCare).

In the Bundy case, the Government chose to mount a heavily armed force to collect his debt. By any definition, that is intimidation and aggression against citizens, we the people. It should not be permitted to stand. Bundy should pay his debt, but not at the point of a gun. This is precisely the intent of the Second Amendment.

Who is the Terrorist Harry?

Rocky, do some research and educate yourself as to the events and dialog that transpired leading up to the events in Bunkerville.
Then you will be able to answer your own question.

They mounted a heavily armed force after he declared a range war. Do you expect the gov't. to bring a knife to a gunfight?

His words, and the armed support he had would seem to prove his seriousness.

I thought the guy was a joke. Now his threat requires a massive show of force. Typical government overreach and excuse protocol.

Might have been the best bet. Round up the cattle after he is behind bars.

I find your dismissal of his violent rhetoric interesting...
How would you have handled the job of enforcing a court order to remove the cattle?
Would you have ignored the judge?
Or would you have gone out there with a little white flag and asked nicely?

His legal arguments are the joke...
The amount of armed people there willing to shoot federal workers enforcing a court order is not.

If the government would have cased the guy and arrested him first this "war" wouldn't be the case. Im amazed at the excuses given for both sides.

The rangers were not there to collect a debt, they were there to get the trespassing cattle off the land.
