In that "Learn something new" vein...

So I was browsing Amazon and came across a clothing item manufactured in Lesotho.

That was a new one on me; typically they are in one of the asiatic countries, though that didn't sound like it to me.

And it's not. Lesotho is a small landlocked country near the southern tip of South Africa, which completely surrounds it.

Anyway, my trivia import for the day is complete.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend, everyone.

Been there a couple of times. Pronunciation depends heavily on ones own national origin. It's a bleak place for the most part. Way high on the plateau at about 10-13 thousand feet. Some spectacular views from the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment back down into the province of Natal. Only problem is getting up there to begin with. I'm surprised to hear of clothing manufactured there. Actually I'd be surprised to hear of "anything" manufactured there Of course there are sheep and goats in fair quantity.

He was good all right.

You and I have seen a few of the good ones move on for God only knows what reason.

Not sure if anyone ever knew what happened to Carlton Hughes or Kerry Edwards.
