Bathroom caulk.
I just finished a bathroom remodel (well almost finished) and I need to caulk the shower I just installed. Its a tile shower. Any recommendations? Needs to dry white or clear as I used white subway tiles with white grout.
Thanks

GE kitchen/bath silicone is fine, provided you've cleaned the joint area. I really like using a caulking tool to finish the job instead of my fingers.

I live in a fairly humid area, the last time I did this I bought one (can't recall the brand) that had a mold inhibitor in it, it's worked great for seven years, maybe longer. You may not need that where you are, but if the room isn't well vented it's worth a thought, and I just mentioned it so you'd know it isn't junk.
I also laid some blue tape along the edges to ensure that I had a nice, crisp line. I'm not a neat freak at all, but I've never had good luck with this task and didn't want it to look...tragic. Good luck with it. |

Is this the bathroom with the sunken tub?
I still hate silicon because it doesn't like to stick to anything, not even itself. I like boat caulks but the chemicals change and I can't remember the names. |

Love the tape idea. Did not even occur to me but it makes perfect sense.
It's a bathroom so it's going to be humid and I'm in DFW so that will make it even worse. I used a sealer/inhibitor additive to the grout so I think the will help also.
