A lot of things could influence an IQ test. Autism, ADHD, drugs, alcohol, schizophrenia, you name it.

Following, he exhibited the necessary IQ to load and aim a gun at a sheriff's deputy. What this decision represents is more "I was incapable of fully understanding what I did was wrong therefore I deserve a break" BS.
