I feel like this is going to be one of those hey, watch this times
$15/hr minimum wage
Watch what the cost of everything else does when this is throughout the land. I'm all for everyone getting as many pieces of green paper that they can but feel we are going to see some inflation because of it.

Fortunately, Seattle isn't the US as a whole, and the Feds can't even agree on $10.10/hr. This being said, I'd support a rise to $10/hr, then indexed for real inflation, including costs of food and housing purchase.

Some Seattle honcho on the TV today said it costs 16 bucks an hour to keep a family of 4 at poverty level in his town.

Don't breed if you can't earn $16/hr. Condoms are less than a buck per shot. Or, if you do, move to a cheaper place. End.

Because all the free money our government printed and handed out to banks has nothing to do with inflation. Its minimum wage we should be worried about.
***** please

I'm not worried about the minimum wage. Just saying that this could be what gets the inflationary spiral jump started. It is inevitable because of all that green paper they printed and gave out.

Or you'll have a lot of people working 12-hour "8-hr" shifts at $15/hr...

Right, like a cheaper place with less jobs paying even less, which is why it is cheaper

Hawaii now joins California, Maryland, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C., in passing legislation to raise their state minimum wage over time to, or above, the $10 hourly mark, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.
How many times have the fed and states survived minimum wag increases without the dire consequences that are always mentioned? |
