77 Horsepower

Is a good lesson in humility and patience.

With that said, 77HP has helped me better identify little gaps in traffic, and plan my moves!

Unless it's a 77p bike, then you go where you want

I feel ya, nothing like a slow car to make you plan ahead

My 190D was 72hp. But with a stick it was not bad, and kept me mostly outta trouble. Gotta get it running again.

77hp? You're still putting bus lengths on 240Ds

That's what I like about 365 horsepower - no planning required - a tractor-trailer is breathing down your neck? Press the pedal down and wave goodbye!

I think a spell in a low powered vehicle helps to teach you not to be a lazy driver.

77hp? that's a ton! I drive daily in a 72HP 190d with a taller diff than probably any other 190d 2.2 has ever had (2.85) AND its an auto trans....and it does just fine.

Fueled yesterday at 29.7mpg, all revvy city miles.

It's not the amount of horsepower, but the horsepower to weight ratio. For fun, my ~38hp bike runs circles around my ~190hp 4x4. But down the road, her little 140hp Sentra with the six speed cruises effortlessly at 90+mph, and pulls hills like they're not even there (in the appropriate gear). For folks of my age, we've come a long way from the smog-dogs we all started out with.

3600lbs with 77HP.

Yeah, that ratio is no good.

For comparison, a Ninja 250R has 32.5HP and weighs ~360lbs. And it feels like 25x faster!
