What, you think it's a lie?
I didn't realize that Ford was building the GT for public sale, which I gather is the case from a search, this after seeing the list of cars.

The modern Ford GT was billed as "the pace car for an entire company" and Bill Ford had chassis no. 1 .

Thanks for posting this MTI.
The 917 is great. The list of cars in Canada is interesting, but the only ones I could get really excited about were the Ford GT's. Looks like that collector was into domestic cars.(Would these cars be considered domestic in Canada?) Thanks again.
