Very loose rear view mirror

It is loose where the mirror attaches to the ball.Did some research and came up with nothing I would consider a permanent fix.
Any good ideas?

Don't think so. I am trying a fix. I removed the mirror from the ball and supper glued a small round pice of plastic to the bottom of the mirror hole where the ball goes. Hope this works.
