Thanks for posting! I watched and enjoyed every minute of it.

I wonder if the police in SoCal just turn off the flashing lights and say "Oh,... That's just Jay again.?"

Very cool! I had to wonder though how fast they were really going? Turns out they were really well under the speed limit?

There was one for sale recently, non running, for $2500. I should have jumped on it. What a fun car.

I can remember being in a Honda dealership in 1971 or so and looking at the new Honda's. These were the first cars sold here and had the two cylinder engines in the front (40 MPG when gas was .28 a gal.!). The dealer had an S600 on display.

I went back the year the Civics first came out and the car was gone. A salesman told me that people thought it looked like a toy car and not a real sportscar so the owner banished it from the showroom. The owner was quite proud of the car but not everyone saw it that way back then. The Datsun 240Z had just come out, in 1971, and it was the standard people were judging Japanese sportscars by and not the Honda S600.

I still think they are interesting cars, but they were not right for the US market then. The 240Z was and even at $3,600 dealers were selling them as fast as they could find them.
