Homo Sapiens out of Greece?

Most people believe homo sapiens first evolved in Africa and then left to inhabit the world. This article seems to contradict that theory.

While I have not combed thru and read in depth any of these links I think someone would need to do so before dismissing the Petralona man out of hand as a "whackjob".

Based on DNA analyses this is the generally accepted migration timeline. The numbers are thousands of years BP.
