When sea levels start to rise, I'm betting on some heavy-handed regulation and taxation coming into play. We might be driving ICE cars in 100 years (if they don't drive themselves), but they could be powered by hydrogen produced via electrolysis powered by clean technology like renewable, hydro, and nuclear.
Basically, if oil execs start being targeted by people who lost their homes or cities due to sea level rises, it would be a good start. |
