Toyota Automobile Museum

Not just Toyotas displayed there. Looks like one of the finest blue chip car collection in the world.

If they're celebrating 25 years as a museum and owned most of the cars during that time, they've made millions just in appreciation.

????????????????? / List of Vehicles on Display : In Chronological Order

Certainly going here if I ever visit Japan.

When I was looking at the 1960's Japanese vehicles, It struck me how much the Japanese must have been cribbing design ideas from British manufacturers. Probably logical, as RHD Brit cars would have been good candidates for the Japanese market. Then I looked at the Toyota 2000GT, and while it can be argued that the Jaguar E-Type may have been the inspiration, the execution certainly foretold the ability of the Japanese to build a world-class car.
