It all comes down to knowing the customer and their preferences. As odd as it seems to me as a 44yo, many Gen-Y and Millennials prefer it.

My client showed me how if you hold your finger on the text you get a round bubble of magnified text with an easily placeable cursor. Does help a lot though I'd still like the cursor arrow keys. Voice to text is remarkable but editing usually needed. Double tapping the space key for period+space is another useful trick. Old hat for longtime users but I didn't know about it til he told me. Also double tapping the shift key gives caps lock.

My client's wife is ESL, raised in Indonesia. She says Siri doesn't understand her. Says the iPhone is racist (jokingly). I predict that soon various ESL versions will be downloadable. I mean please, native Hindi speakers, for example, do seem to have much similarity in their patterns of speaking English.

On a semi-related note, where are the physical sliders? If we're moving to all text why in the world don't we have keyboards?

I have a 5S, plan on getting the 6S next fall since mine is just turning a year old and still in good working condition, I have 5 lines on my business plan so I can update with trade in for pretty cheap whenever I want really. BTW elchivito keep those phones on wifi or your going to burn threw your data fast, you really need 1-2 gigs per phone, I'm averaging about 8 gigs a month for my 5 lines and that's with one being a flip phone.

5c is my work phone. It frustrates me that there is no manual; you have to discover stuff for yourself , or have friends who know.
Every one of my field techs has a smart phone. It wasn't that long ago that we trained techs and expected them to know what they are doing. Sigh....

A couple teenage kids I know blew through 30 gigs/month easy on our 15 gig plan. Until I put limits on their phones. In their semi-defense, they weren't using their phones any more than they usually do (which is too much but I pick my battles), it just happened to be while we were up in ME and they didn't have their WiFi umbilical attached.
