1998 to 2001 Altima lighting question
 

Hello all,
In addition to a pair of W123 diesels, I have a '98 Nissan Altima as my backup daily-driver. The plastic flush-type headlights were so clouded that it had become nearly impossible to drive this car at night. So, I was able to find a new set of headlight assemblies in the Pick-N-Pull off a 2001 Altima and decided to upgrade the lighting on my '98.
The headlights assemblies fit my car, but add a pair of clear cornering lamps outboard of the high-low beam units, which my '98 didn't have. So if anyone here knows, I'm wondering under what conditions these cornering lights are supposed to come on? Thanks.
