It's back in the garage. I list it for sale about once a month. Some old guy will come look at it and piss me off for one reason or another (usually with stupid trades, lowballs) and I take it off the market. The last one was a straight up trade offer for beat up high miles 1994 Trans Am, before that a bad paint 1978 Lincoln Continental. No thanks, I'm not a moron. I think people watch these barter shows on cable and get delusions.

Kansas is such a wasteland... the wrong place for frivolous purchases like vintage cars.

I will also never list another car with Mecum. They were running several hours behind, the place had cleared out when they ran the Imperial. The bidder reps got all in my face for a $3500 bid like it was a gift from God. Less than $3000 after fees? HA! Really left a bad taste in my mouth. My 1990 560SEL with several needs brought $3750... was sold in the morning to a large crowd.

Tyler's 1966 coupe represents the peak of the post-war Imperials. Turbine smooth, luxurious, and built like a tank.

Also large enough to have its own zip code.

Sexy 6.9 BTW.

That's some good looking 6.9, the 116 is such an amazing car with euro trim.

I love W116s and would love to own one personally, but honestly if I were to consider purchasing this car, the body kit would have to go.
