Microsoft App Store . . . Buyer Beware
The Windows Store is full of scam apps and Microsoft doesn't care | News | Softonic
In short, Microsoft wants to play a game of numbers. The company knows its app store's offerings are far fewer than Android and iOS. To boost its numbers, Microsoft has been incentivizing developers to create apps for the Windows Store, even if they're utter crap. Well, that should really burn the dozens or so Surface users . . . |

Surfaces are great ... for running Windows 8.1 Pro, not "Metrosexual-Modern" crapplets from the M$ $tore. Surface RT, which is limited to crapplets, went over like a lead balloon.
It might matter if you're the 0.1% of users that use Windows Phone. The only sad thing is that the Nokia phones (with great cameras) have moved to Windows Phone, which is very much a dealbreaker for me since I can't stand the interface nor being limited to M$'s walled prison. |

Apparently to remind you to wish your wife a happy anniversary and to remind you to buy flowers when you're at a florist.

If you can live with the excremental user interface, the Lumia Icon has a very good camera.
