Um -- wow. The most signs I've seen on one post in Boston is two.

This begs for someone to go Cool Hand Luke on the things. On the plus side, CA no longer uses chain gangs.

And this makes NYC parking signs look sane.

How about, "Parking with permit only", then issue permits and tell the permit holders about the other particulars they want. Or would that make too much sense?

San Diago was already like that back in the 1908s.

Where My Mother lives there is a single easy to miss no Parking Sign saying when Street Sweeping Day posted at the entrance of the 4 Streets that go into a 7 Square Mile Housing Track.
And, on Street Sweeping day all of the Streets cannot be Parked on in that whole 7 squar miles of Housing Track.
That must be a Money Magnet for that City.

Where I live the Parking Signs are posted on the ends of each Block and on Steet Sweeping Day the opposite side of the Street is open to park on.

Wait... cars were common in 1908?

More seriously, I've been to SD many times recently, and it's not really bad, at least in the more urban areas (beach towns, PB, OB, North Park, Mission Valley). I think sweeping is only 1-2x per month.

Individual HOAs might create their own crazy rules, but I try to avoid HOA-infested areas and the people who live there.

Funny thing is, if there was a sign that big in NYC and you stopped to read it; you would have a ticket before you even finished reading the sign

This looks like one person put up a sign and someone wanted an exemption. After proving their case it was granted.

Then another person showed up with a unique set of circumstances, and then another.........

Out of chaos comes order.

you should visit mid and south tx.

little old lady in her little grand marquis stopped on the road reading the sign and swapping glasses. (little grand marquis because the other traffic on the road are either farm trucks or brodozers)

other signs could be found shot too.
