Kit to repair thermostat wire?
We replaced the water heater yesterday in our carriage house. Unfortunately the furnace flue, all the gas piping for the furnace, the wh, the stove and the dryer all criss crossed in front of it and had to be disassembled before we could get the wh out. The thermostat wire also went across one of the gas pipes and had to be left on the floor of the room because of being too short to put above things. In the tugging and so forth it appears we have damaged the tstat wire since the furnace will not come on now.
My question is do they sell splice kits so I can splice in new wire without disconnecting the wire from the furnace and from the part in the wall?

It's just 12 or 24 volts on a typical furnace. A length of wire and some wire nuts will work. You can buy 2, 3 or 4 wire thermostat wire at the hardware or big box store.
