The Hamms wed in 1988 and had no prenuptial agreement. For years, Sue Ann Hamm was also an executive at Continental.
The fawking he gets for the fawking he gave. I wonder why people said "Don't dip your pen in the company ink.

1 billion out of 17 billion, and he doesn't have to pay out all at once.

Sounds like he's coming out just fine.

Nothing to do with whether his ex-wife worked with him. The moral here is "sign a pre-nup."

Looks like he did the last one. Just one big payment at the end of the term instead of monthly, weekly, or nightly. I left out hourly!

Someone should have told that to Tiger Woods.

These people were married 25 years ago, before he built the company he has.

I don't see the point. Regardless of what he was or is, the question we need to ask is "What did you contribute to the situation?". For instance, if I am a billionaire and my wife's greatest achievement is to ask "Would you like fries with that?", my answer would be "NOTHING". OTOH, if she fronted me the money which is the spark plug to my business then the argument is that without my talents and her money, we'd still be broke therefore why shouldn't she have a more equitable share?".

She regularly picked up his dry cleaning, which enabled him to go out into the world fully clothed and make his fortune. While the $995,000,000 bill for this service is expensive, the dry cleaner was able to successfully remove the pizza sauce stain from his favorite tie...
