Newsflash. USAA does not write business policies. They havent ever as far I know. I run a home business, and transferred the ownership of a home to a business, and i have to reinsure outside of USAA. I still have other polices with them.

The difference here is i didnt whine on the internet because they refused to bend their obvious and clearly spelled out policies because i consider myself special, like Mr. Reed. I also didnt decide that they had an axe to grind against me and invent political reasons.

The guy should go back to his cheaper AAA policy and stop crying like a baby. A company doesnt have to sell you a thing if they dont want to, and the reason can be as simple as they dont like you.

Because he's famous in his own opinion doesn't make him any different. They don't cover what it is that he does, pretty simple. He only thinks its a personal attack because he personally drew the attention that got his policy dropped. And what he doesn't realize is if he ever had had a claim, they would have figured it out, denied the claim, and dropped his policy. At least this way he will now get appropriate coverage to protect him in the event of a claim.

I respect all members of the military and thank them for their service but its also not a accept your bull**** because card.

Very true! In my book of how to do business there are two unbending rules: You don't lie to your insurance company or the IRS. ( I try pretty hard not to lie to anybody but with these two entities the potential for trouble is just so high they deserve to be singled out).

or the IRS.

Good policy. Of course, the IRS would never lie to you- or anyone else.

One. USAA misstated the facts concerning pending litigation against him. He corrected the record with his response letter to them, and yet no joy.

Here is the problem, plain and simple:

"In a call, a USAA representative said the cancellation was because of my headline news page. When I pointed out that neither homeowners insurance nor umbrella liability covered business activities, she said that the headline news page “blurred the line between business and personal.”

Errors and Omission Insurance and/or General Liability Insurance covers BUSINESS activities; Umbrella Liability coverage is for excess liabilities in reference to claims against an individual, not a business.

It appears the USAA representative is blurring the lines........

Do you respect the right of a business to post this sign?
