I got this hotspot and it didn't work worth a flip. I loaded a data compression proxy extension for Chrome and now it works pretty good. I think I am keeping it.

My laptop is on Windows 7 64 bit and an I5 processor.

The hotspot sells for about $100 and the data is $10/Gig. It's probably throttled and isn't for hardcore usage.

It's raining and cold out.

This is looking like a spammed-out connection and I am not pleased with what the Internet has become. For instance it is the first time I have seen the ads embedded on this site.

Data compression seems to be an ongoing issue. It looks like the compression software includes the ads before transmission and my computer has to decompress the page and ads and all. Looks like things get muddled since my computer is trying to block ads. The cost is also an issue since I am probably paying by the Gig for the ads and all.

Consumerism sucks.

if you are seeing embedded ads on this site, your browser is hacked. get some good spyware removal tools and clear up your computer.

I recommend RKILL, followed by ADWremover and malwarebytes.com... all free, and all great at clearing up junk.
