Ambitious Part Out

Parting 78 Cadillac fleetwood

I'd probably do the same to try to and get a couple extra bucks, but wow.

425 ran &drove good till tree fell on it . still runs good . disc brake rear end with new calipers all the way around . Nose very good except hood has a dent that could be fixed. Sell parts or whole call for prices . 9 to 5 Mon thru Fri.

Looks like it "drove good till FOREST fell on it". Still runs good? Really? You know this how? Sure the frame isn't bent? Did you run good it down the road? Nose is very good except for dent? Does it come with 10 gallons of Bondo?

I thunk when me were on the second grade the writing were gooder than that.

That must have been a sweet car before the tree had its way with it. The 1977-79 deVilles and Fleetwoods were the last of the great full-blooded rear-wheel-drive Cadillacs. They shrank engine displacement to 368 ci for 1980, 1981 had that poor V8-6-4 abomination, 1982-85 had those atrocious 4100 motors, and after that Cadillac was using GM V8's from other brands.

I don't know...cut off what is left of the roof and windshield pillars, straighten out the doors, create a competition type Lexan windshield that wraps around to the front door area...you could have a pretty nice Fleetwood Speedster...

Frame looks a little bent in the middle or am I looking at it wrong?

I think a second grader like me would interpret it as 'engine' runs good.

I interpret that as the engine was not damaged. Great parts car for nose and drivetrain parts as far as im concerned.

Must have been a hell of a tree, nearly squashed flat!

True but no good images come to my mind when I see poor grammar.

Maybe not but I don't think he was doing much maintenance. Certainly not GOODER than me.

You seem to be most upset by this ad. Why? Apart from the misuse of the word good, which is incredibly common unfortunately, there isnt even a misspelling.

Yet you claim it wasnt maintained. Looks like a nice old caddilac that nature destroyed. I dont see any rust, and the paint looks decent, so chances are it might have some useful parts.
Simple as that, you should relax.

Most of the people I have come across with bad grammar and spelling are on the lower end of the job ladder. I don't see many low enders spending money and time on car maintenance. Not always true but it is a safe way to bet if you want to be right more often than not.
