WWII Torture in Japan? You're a Racist Ms. Jolie

'Unbroken' causes outrage in Japan from - NY Daily News

At the center of controversy is the sequences in “Unbroken” of Zamperini’s beatings at the hands of an Imperial officer named Mutsuhiro Watanabe -- played by Japanese pop star Miyavi. The emotionally tough scenes are -- taken straight out of Laura Hillenbrand’s biography of the same name and based on Zamperini’s own account.

I hope they never see 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence' in Japan. If they can't take Angie's film they would really get the vapors over that one.

screw them, the only reason there is outrage because it is true. The nazis were almost like Boy Scouts compared to what the Imperial Japanese forces did....maybe we should have dropped another bomb...

They were willing to die for the Emperor and the Marines & the Army were more than willing to oblige them. Three years from Guadalcanal to Okinawa.
They gave no quarter and got none in return.

...The USAAF didn't have a third nuke. They were "two and thru".

Much of their behavior stemmed from their theory that whatever they did was correct; that they could not make mistakes in moral judgement because their decisions on what was moral behavior were never wrong.

In this sense they were much like the ISIL of today. Their view of the world is all that matters, so if you disagree with them then you must be the one in error.
