The only good luxe-truck is one that's had its oil replaced with sodium silicate solution and is running at 6000 rpm. Or one that's wrapped around a phone pole, in flames.

Yep, because you can pull up in a $90k Suburban and people don't think your a rich prick, but in a used E class you paid $15k for they do...

That's the truth too. My Escape isnt that old, wasnt cheap, and is a practical and dependable vehicle. Gets lost in the parking lot.

For grins, I went to Ford's site and "built" my truck as a 2015 with it's current options. It's far from what I'd call "luxury", with electric 4x4 and power door locks, windows and cruise control.
It topped out at just over 50k. At that rate, I will never replace it, ever... |
