Send some good vibes to JimB

Keep Jim B. in your thoughts, guys and send him some good vibes. I have some unconfirmed reports about health issues. Hopefully he can post soon and say I'm full of BS.

You confirmed everything to me.

Since Jim has posted after his surgery some and hasn't mentioned it, I'll let him fill in the details if he wishes. Summary: Major health scare. Major/risky surgery. Went well. Long road to recovery.

I expect nothing less but many more years out of our forums more colorful characters. Like me, a lot of the younger West coast forum members think of him like a fun, eccentric uncle.

Also, the serial bachelor with all of his fun to read romantic escapades did finally settle down recently. Some of you may remember his proposal thread.

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/open-discussion/357228-jim-b-finally-marry-unique-high-tech-proposal-accepted-short-video-incl.html

So congratulations are in order for multiple reasons. Prayers/good vibes as well.

I spoke with him too. I can confirm he is in excellent spirits. He is very high on his new wife. She sounds like a great gal.

Eccentric uncle is an excellent phrase for Jim.

Good thoughts here. Just coincidental that the problems occurred after marriage? My recollection is that he had a longstanding opinion to expect such things.

I was just thinking last night that I hadn't seen much out of him lately.

Best wishes, Jim! Get yourself healthy!

I just got off the phone with Jim and he's in great spirits. He was leaving the rehab facility, heading to lunch, then home. Stage 4 brain cancer, surgery was to remove the tumor and went well. Still needing chemo. Jim is optimistic about it all and very happy with his new wife.

I found out about all this because I wanted to send him something for Christmas, needed his address, and didn't hear back.

We spent a little over 30 minutes on the phone, mostly talking about our love of cars and the people we've met, experiences we had because of them.

Hopefully he will be posting soon.

Damn, that's some serious ****. Hope you're doing well. My FIL had a brain tumor removed and survived for over a decade.
