Looking at a 2009 E350 Wagon, thoughts?

I think I will check this one out tomorrow. Any thoughts, recommendations? Spent the day driving volvo wagons. Would love to stay with MB. Current 1995 E320 wagon owner.

I would go with a 2011 for a few thousand more or get them down to around $22k.

Overpriced. At the dealer auction, these are selling anywhere from the $16-19k range with those miles.

$22k would be top dollar. $25k is just silly.

I'm concerned about the balance shaft issue. I ran the VIN through a website but it was in Russian so I couldn't really understand it. Is there a way to know if the issue has been addressed? Would there be some sort of documentation? Also, someone suggested I get a PPI. Would love to but that can be a little difficult logistically. Am I really taking a risk by not?
