You should get what you pay for when buying from the dealer.

The Husqavarna dealer sales rep promised me a complete muffler kit when I visited their location last week ,a 2 day shipping turnaround which was promised was ontime, but , some key parts are missing as I looked the kit over upon pickup. As they look the bag over I can see one rep looking for a way to explain the missing parts ,"theirs a problem sir ,the kit doesnt come with these parts". The answer I was waiting for ,I take out my reciept with an exploided view of the kit and its parts and ask ," well why did one of your reps sign and date this paper saying that these were the parts I would be recieving .A few minutes of scrambling over the internet and the parts are ordered,"No extra shipping " I ask ,"yes sir" .

"You should get what you pay for......"

That's what I told the sales people when they tried to send me home with a plug in the tire the night I signed for a new ATS in Oct.

"But Mr XXX, they are permanent repairs"
"Well, I'm buying a new car. I expect it to have everything the way it rolled off the assembly line. And it didn't leave the plant with a plug in the tire...and I don't think I'm being unreasonable!"

Jeeeeezzzz!!! Two sales reps tried to get me to settle for a plug in the rear tire.

The saw is a base #137 model with a 16 inch chain ,bought for cheap with no muffler,it has plenty of power for the small odd jobs Ill be using it for around the house. A good bit of info to keep those small and big chainsaws running well is to stay away from mixing your own fuel ,this is due to the alcohol allowed in todays gas station fuels which small carbs will not tolerate over time.Truefuel is cheap enough and is already mixed with oil and a non-alcohol 93 octane fuel base.To keep your mower fuel system up to snuff a good source recommended dumping the fuel out during the winter time.A small engine repair shop who likes to keep their doors open supplied the reasoning behind the peak months , right as spring comes on ,the mowers come in by the dozens.
