Reading this post is beautiful ... I'm so thrilled you've found this happiness ... I know how hard you worked to get there. I understand the battle of climbing out of a hole, and how much will it takes to keep moving forward. Seeing you build these successes is honestly inspiring to me, especially as I put my own troubled ex-career in the past and try to look forward. I still have the lucky pin pinned to the headliner of my Jeep ... it's helped me through some lows ... perhaps I should keep my eye out for other forum members who may need it more than I do.
Thanks for the shoutout ... and right back at you. You've listened to a lot of my trials and tribulations as well over the years and I'm better off for it. I know I'm not the best at letting people know I appreciate them, but I've always truly appreciated our friendship!
And ... massive congrats on the engagement!!!!

(also, every time I see a pic of the G, it reminds me how bad I want one ... one of these days ...)

Great to hear inspiring stories. I would say best of luck to you, but it seems like you've made your own luck the last few years. May your 2015 be great.

Still. Very happy to hear that things have turned around for you. And nice to see the Gelandewagen in that pic too.

We miss the green too and can't wait for spring time to roll around. We had a ton of fun having family over to enjoy eating outside in the back yard this past summer despite all the chaos of moving in and fixing things.

The G is a mess at the moment and barely functional. The power is still pathetic, blower motor is out in the dead of winter, electrics have mind of their own etc etc I have a ton of parts to install but without a garage big enough they will all have to wait until spring.

Thank you. I never thought my writing could be considered beautiful in any way.

Of course, and I will continue to listen and give any advice for as long as am an able to.

And to you as well! I've been slacking and need to catch up on your "Extremely old house" thread and Swampyankees "Burned House" thread as well.
