This is really a very old story. In fact, in story form it would look something like this...

EXT., NIGHT: We see a dark figure sitting in a car. Light rain is falling. NARR in VO: Some men are followed by an unseen friend, a friend they cannot shake off like another cold wind. That friend is trouble. (a beat) For this man Trouble seems to be his only friend, for wherever he goes Trouble is there, extending a friendly hand as if to say, "Come with me. Everything will work out for the best."

Looking through the rain covered windshield we SEE a lone figure walking down the sidewalk towards the car. The person appears to be a young man without a care in the world. He is dressed in typical teenager clothing. He is whistling and appears to be in a hurry.

Outside the car a man appears at the drivers door. He is dressed in a trench coat. We see only his torso and not his face which is above the drivers POV.

The trench coat man SPEAKS: Well? Are you coming or not?

The man in the car hesitates, then with a look of resolve reaches to his right and picks up a gun from the car's bench seat. He opens the door of the car and steps out into the light rain. Trench coat man has vanished.

So where do you want this to go? Is this a story about a guy who fights his demons or who lets them rule him? Let me know what the marketing people say. I can get to the turning point by tomorrow and have the full 120 by the end of the month.

The guys is a retard. He is always looking to be a hero to get in the spotlight, obviously feels insignificant. I hope they take away his guns, he has guns for every wrong reason.

I was trying to point out that his story is a very old one and not unique in any way. There may be those that think he is some sort of defender of all that is good in this world but this story has played out so many times it is considered one of the oldest plots in Hollywoodland. This is the type of script I could knock out in a few days; it would change only to update it based on feedback from the marketing suits.

So where is this story going? To the same place most people said it would back when Zim first hit the news.

And the ending can be either tragic or hopeful. Will he defeat his demons and become an example of a changed man or will he let events he can easily control take over his life and destroy him?

This plot is about 4,500 years old, and the two ending I have laid out are the only logical ones.

And only he can write the ending.

I say he'll either wind up dead or in jail.....
