Paid $2.69 a gallon for premium when I filled the beater up yesterday. Saw D2 for $2.79 on my way to work this morning.

well this might be short lived, i hear that US producers will bail if they cant get $80 per barrel, but it will be fun while it lasts! i might need to fill old soda cans and milk jugs full of gas for when it gets back up in price

Great gas prices, hopefully they will stay low. The island of Trinidad has had eighty cents/gallon diesel available for YEARS. Around ten years ago, saw an interview with an Iraqi taxicab driver who was paying twenty-five cents a gallon for gasoline.

He said "We thank the Americans for our cheap fuel".

I filled up the Corolla with 87 today for $2.699... I thought that was good! It is one of the better prices around, though, at least in our immediate area.

I'm thinking I'll try to go on a couple longer road trips this January, though, given how much less expensive it will be...

2.79 here today, need to get me a HEMI!

Back when it was just over $2 at the gas dock we used to take my grandfathers bout over to PJ for lunch and burn off 60-70 gallons doing it!

Pffft...two weekends ago at Stop & Shop Gas after cashing in my gas points. $0.10 off/gal. for every $100 in groceries. Points accumulate but expire 30 days from purchase.

Almost filled up my Suburban and snowblower gas can. (Limited to 35 gals.)

Of course, the frightening thing is that RUG pump price was $2.759 which means I spent $2K on groceries in the month.

Thanks to Christmas day dinner purchases I'm back over $2.00/gal. off just in time to fill up the Suburban again. Pump price on the commercial strip near my house is now around $2.395.
