Do you all listen to this on repeat?

I always make a cd for my rides that's kind of theme music. My truck has a hank Williams Sr. Cassette glued in. Stuff like that.

Making one for the benz. This has to be track one on the cd.

Not exactly themed specifically to the car. But many years ago I did make a traveling compliation on tape of various songs that I thought would make for an "interesting" trip. I had quite a bit of Springsteen in there. Nebraska, Wreck on the Highway, Johnny 99 etc. There was also "Bananas" and "The Bummer" by Harry Chapin. And a couple of other downers. Can't quite remember them all now but I do remember finishing it up with "Country Death Song" by the Violent Femmes. Unfortunately the tape was short lived getting chewed up in a player not long after I created it. Always wanted to do it again on CD. One of these days...

What's a CD?

I don't do themes by vehicle but I do have separate playlists depending on mood.
Country drinking songs to get in the party mood. Old Metallica/Pantera/Rob Zombie/Godsmack/Five Finger Deathpunch/Disturbed or Dropkick Murphys/Flogging Molly/The Mighty Mighty Bosstones to keep me awake when driving late at night (or through it) or when I'm pissed off and want to blow off some steam. 80's hair bands or Beastie Boys & Run DMC when I'm feeling nostalgic. ZZ Top's Ranch Texicano (38 songs!) and Zac Brown Band on shuffle when I'm in the mood to chill. 60's surf tunes to bring me back to my youth since that's what my mom & dad listened to when I was a punk kid growing up in the 70's and they always make me think of those great summers we had growing up on the beach and boat.

Lol. Those videos are awesome. The look on his face while pouring vegetable oil on the chick. Rofl.

It's ironic that my 95 truck has a stock cassette. And my 70 benz has iPod direct control and Bluetooth.

Originally the benz played a barrington levy album, a UK version of original ragamuffin.

But it needs a mix. Need those two songs as well. Lol.

My 99 C280 has a cassette, but connected to a CD unit in the trunk. When bought it, there was a Kenny G cassette in the deck. Hmm, it might still be in there.
