Switching from ADSL to VDSL modem
We're changing our internet service next week from 1.5mg adsl to 12mg vdsl. I have to install the new vdsl modem which is on our way to us. Does anyone know if that's just plug and play? Plug the phone line into the new modem and plug the wireless router into the modem. Or is it more complicated than that?

Wouldn't hurt to replace the filters on the phones (if any) with the ones from the new modem.
Also, if you're changing providers and they use PPPoE, you might have to change the username/password in the router. And if the router is currently set up for PPPoE, you might have to switch the modem to "bridge mode." |

Not changing providers so perhaps that won't be necessary. Are VDSL filters different than ADSL filters?
